I work with adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, PTSD, accidents, surgeries, chronic pain, chronic illness, grief and difficulties connecting.
I work with children and adolescents who have trauma symptoms, loss, anxiety, attachment problems, ADD, Autism, problematic behaviors, socializing issues, being bullied, and school performance difficulties.
My child and adolescent clients often will have issues such as aggression, hypervigilance, attention issues, poor impulse control, divorce in the family and adoption.
My approach to psychotherapy comes from a deep commitment to my own and others’ healing. This includes over 30 years of mindfulness meditation, yoga, and personal therapy. I have over 35 years of training and study in the field of therapeutic healing. I have had and continue to receive post advanced training in the healing of trauma as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and a NeuroAffective Touch Practitioner.
I offer Somatic Experiencing® and NeuroAffective Touch for both adults and children. I also offer child centered play therapy.
These methods are deeply healing for developmental, relational and attachment trauma.
People are drawn to me who are open to working somatically with their bodies in a safe environment to resolve stress and heal.
I offer a complimentary phone consultation for our first 15 minutes together so we can both determine if it's the right fit.
