Somatic Therapy for PTSD

My style is gentle, direct, and kind. I use an interactive approach where together we tune into your inner experience in a safe way. We will slow things down and help you to find your internal resources needed for healing.  This brings about an inner freedom and a deeper connection to your resiliency, strength, and happiness.

My healing work spans the broad fields of Somatic Experiencing®, NeuroAffective Touch®, Transforming Touch®, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Shamanism and Play Therapy. I have extensive training and certifications in the most advanced evidence based somatic treatments for trauma. I receive ongoing therapy, training and consultation.

Some of the advanced somatic trainings I've attended include Somatic Experiencing, NeuroAffective Touch, Somatic Resilience and Regulation, Advanced SRR, Transforming the Experienced Based Brain.

Introduction to Craniosacral Therapy, Perinatal and Prenatal Implicit Memory, Healing Prebirth and Birth at Any Age, Nurturing the Heart With the Brain in Mind and Somatic Narrative.

Transforming Touch®, a natural approach to healing developmental trauma developed by Steven Terrell Psy.D, SEP and Somatic Resilience and Regulation (Kathy Kain and Steve Terrell) are the main methods I practice.

All the methods I incorporate are deeply healing for developmental, relational. transgenerational and attachment trauma. This work can be done online or in person.

If you are interested in an initial session to see if we might want to work together, please contact me here.

My in person clients live in Pleasant Hill, Concord, Walnut Creek, Orinda, Lafayette, Danville, Martinez, Antioch, Pittsburg, Berkeley, Oakland and Marin California.

I see clients online from anywhere in California. I also can see you online as a consultant from anywhere in the world.

This includes consultation for therapists who are wanting to integrate somatic trauma work into their practice.
