Somatic Experiencing® is a body-oriented approach for the resolution and healing of trauma and chronic stress developed by Dr. Peter Levine and is supported by research. It is a safe and powerful psychobiological method that rewires the brain and the nervous system.

Somatic Experiencing® works to resolve and heal shock trauma and early developmental attachment trauma. With my guidance and support clients are able to access their resilience by slowly and safely tuning in to their inner experience. We use the coregulation of our attachment relationship and intention to bring about healing.

This method is deeply healing for developmental, relational and attachment trauma. Most clients find this work helps to shift the chronic stress in their system in a very deep and profound way. This can be done online with intentional touch or in person on a table using touch.

The adrenals, kidneys and brainstem hold our stress and trauma. The adrenals dump stress hormones every 15 seconds into the bloodstream when our nervous system is stressed. By gently supporting the adrenals, and the brainstem they begin to let go of what's no longer needed. The body begins to heal and restore itself back to a state of vitality and wholeness.
